In spite of the issues she mentioned, I'd still recommend the show. It's still miles ahead of American superhero comics on those issues, after all, and also, unlike American superhero comics, everyone's heart seems to be in the right place, at least.

I would suggest there was an additional resonance for her, unless you are a Synthezoid-American.
