Subj: It was pretty mild, despite CSFB!'s write-in campaign.

> ...So much so that I am amazed that you put a warning on it.

Well, it does include some sexual situations and a suggestion of attempted rape. Next time gets the same warning because it includes much the same, plus some harder-than-usual physical violence. There's even an injury-to-the-eye motif.

> A nice piece. I guessed that Regret would be appearing (but not how). I didn't expect any of the rest of it.

Excellent.

In which Tom’s morning does not go entirely as planned
> > and Asil has a rude awakening

> To quote from the original Blackadder: "Amusing for whom, I wonder".

Indeed.

> >     Ã¢â‚¬Å“Of course not,” denied Tom. “Look, we had a great date. At least I thought we did. We had fun. We got on really well together, and somehow we ended up here for a nightcap and, well, things happened.” He pointed to Asil’s clothes scattered about the room. “You seemed much more enthusiastic about this last night. Much more.”
> I says a lot for my PVMB reading that I immediately thought of Danny here.

It does. Mind you, I wrote both scenes, so it's probable they'd have similarities.

> >     Lionel Lodestone was waiting when his date woke up. “Morning Asil,” he greeted her with a nasty chuckle.
> Oh. He is sooo going to regret that...

See #4.

> > The Club is ruled by a Black Emperor and a White Empress, Simonides Slaughter and Anna Salem, who have secretly held those positions since the group’s foundation. Slaughter has the gift of reflecting back metahuman powers upon their wielders. Salem is a high-end psionic with telepathic and telekinetic abilities. Unknown to even some of the Inner Circle they are both powerful and ancient Hero Feeders, extradimensional entities who devour humans out of the narrative of the Parodyverse.
> Purely a thought, but would they have been familliar with the Gamesmaster?

Only in the sense that we're aware of dinosaurs. The Gamesmaster was a major Hero Feeder from the Old Time, back when a single being could erase planets. Slaughter and Salem are powerful examples of the current degenerate fragments remaining of that species after their war with the Second Oldest Race, much diminished; but they're at the top end of the smarts scale for the contemporary Feeders, which makes them dangerous for the same reasons humans are more dangerous than sabretooths.
