Subj: Ronnie hates Chad: the end of a friendship.

As many of you may know that the characters of Chad & Ronnie were originally abstractions of Me & Scott. But I'm not sure if the characters could/should continue since Scott now dislikes/hates me. \:\(

It's all because of few comments made on Facebook yesterday. He posted over there about events happening in this life & I try to bring the funny to cheer him up. The funny was not received. I not knowing this attempt to bring more funny because I thought his response was also in a joking manner. I think nothing more of this until I check my account this morning & have a nasty message from Scott on my page. I also find out that he has de-friended me. A 7 year friendship down the tubes all because of a joke gone wrong.

I'd admit it's been a few years since the events that lead to Chad & Ronnies' creation & we hardly even talk anymore but I still thought of Scott being my friend. It's sad that this is how it ends. I would thought we had enough built up that Scott would have know what I said was a joke. Sure, I didn't use any emoticons to denote the joke but still I've never been all that serious. I've also seen over the years that at time Scott has blown his top at me before. He's said it's due to stress (as he said this time, too). In past time we've gotten past it but I guess this time is different. Also, there were a few hurtful things Scott had brought up in message, a few I felt were not called for. I'm not sure if he truly means them. If he does, it's sad that is how he thinks of me that way.

He has asked to leave him alone which I shall. I did sent him a response to his message but will do nothing more. I guess this post is something more but I thought the group should know.

-Brian,
sadly no longer Scott's friend.
