I've always been a bit reluctant to plunge in and "finish" the HV storyline. The poster has come back two or three times after very long gaps, on each occasion with intent to continue his work. The nearest I got was probably in "Heart of Darkness", which is where Humbolt Vernold gets his real comeuppance after the present plotline.
