Subj: As I recall, it was printed in the back of an anniversary issue or something...

I've come to think of the Lair Legion as an organization much like that of the Avengers.

As stated in the Avengers Charter Section 2 which is about Membership: It says that active members get paid stipend of $1,000 per week (They can choose to not accept which get put into that members Retirement fund). They also get free medical & life insurance benefits. They get use of "private quarters" & "Unlimited meal privileges shall be provided for live-in members". As well are "granted unlimited access to the Avengers Mansion headquarters, vehicles, computer records files, and any other facilities of the organization."

So, most of those things are within keeping of what I've come to except with what you get with being a Legionnaire. The only think that is murky for me is the paid stipend. If someone has answer to this, I'd like to hear it. It might be something I'd address in Ham-Boy's own series as he is a new Legionnaire.

When I got the info about the Avenger's charter was here: http://www.whiterocketbooks.com/avengers/charter.html

It's quite an interesting read.

I know I've read the charter before. I like the "unlimited access to vehicles" clause. The Avengers must run up huge quinjet fuels costs every time some new recruit wants authentic Italian for lunch.

I believe it's been mentioned before that there's some kind of pay associated with being a Legionnaire... I don't recall exactly what it might be though.
