That was just an example, generally I mean any situation where he might say he can't take a day off because he's needed. Whether it's the Lair Legion, or a critical day at the Foundation, or not wanting to leave Mac Fleetwood hanging.

To be fair though, quite a few people in reality do that. They can't take a day off because their boss needs them, they have a really important event they can't get out of, etc.

In both cases it just *looks* like a comical workaholic, but it often comes with an inability to trust someone else to do the job, or a fear that someone else might replace them permanently if they seem to be doing a better job.





Of course he has downtime, the question is what he does with it. Whether he actually does give himself time off, or if he believes that's a waste of time when there's so much to do.
