I was sad, but expecting, that Hallie would choose not to be in the Legion. But I was more upset that she is breaking things off with Vizh because of his new (old?) role with the LL.

We're not at a rest point with this plot.

It creates an interesting quandary. On the one hand, I half expected Vizh to offer to step down as leader if it meant he had to break things off with Hallie. On the other hand, is Hallie perhaps using recent events as an excuse to break things off with Vizh, and should Vizh be expected to give up this role that his friends want him to fill?

Hallie's motivations were outlined last issue. She would like to be a Legionnaire but she's saying otherwise.

    Quote:
The LL is actually defined by its relationships, so I hate to see Hallie break up with Vizh because he has gotten a "promotion". Inter-team romances happen all the time, and this one well pre-dates Vizh's reclaimed role as leader of the LL.

I hope to be able to address the Vizh/Hallie romance issue soon. After a period of "they're kinda going out" I felt we needed a clearer starting point to any new developments.

Also liked Tandi's conversation with Vizh about the secretary job, and glad the he's encouraging her to step outside her boundaries to take on something new. While she's good for comic relief, I do look forward to the character evolving into more than just a sex joke.

She's a light-hearted character with lots of fun potential (like Flapjack in some ways), which should mean that the odd dramatic moment has all the more effective.
