Almost all Hodgekiss' appearances have put him in his place one way or another if you look back and think about it. The problem with having him around was thinking of different ways that various cast members could engage him that didn't all degenerate into screaming insult matches. I think Dancer was most successful.

When I thought about who was likely to be able to shout Hodgekiss down (apart from CSFB!) the top of the list were Dan Drury or Mumphrey. Since it was Mumph I was bringing back to the LL he got priority. However, a couple of folks have felt that Mumph's victory here belittled others who've struggled with Hodgekiss before so I don't think the section worked the way it was supposed to.




I think he may have a short stay.
