It's starting to look like Anna releasing herself from SPUD was the best thing she could have done for the Lair Legion. No doubt by this point General Buttkiss would have turned her loose on the LL by now.

Not quite yet; but after the next phase definitely.

Lara Night will be in a highly unique position once she gets home and sees the mess that's going on. She has the choice of trying to talk to CSFB! as someone who's neutral; and because she's done TV commercials about the homeless, she also has the option of making a public statement in support of the LL. I bet the General will hate that - too bad there's not much he can do about it, since she's a civilian and not even an LL member.

Under CSFB!'s plans she'd certainly be offered membership, along with pretty much every other metahuman he'd ever met and approved of. Imagine the governments' joy at offering security clearances to Lara or Chiaki - or PsychoAcidPervGirl!

I'm getting the impression that Yuki has a different plan - to watch the whole thing burn down around CSFB! first, until he's desperate enough to ask her help instead of pushing his plan.

I suspect Yuki's trying to balance her own natural temprament with her loyalty to the team, her friendship with Dream, her professional expertise, and her dislike of authority. It's a tough line for her to walk.
