Quote: This chapter is shaping up to be a fun bit of downtime. I thought the shopping trip was an interesting pairing and a fun way to establish the status quo for the two heroes. Hopefully we'll get to see Michael's sisters mock his selections in the near future.I just need to find a way to get Bry on a date with one or both of them. Quote: Thugos is such the charmer... but I'm thinking the property values of his homeworld aren't nearly as high as they'd be with a nice park or some other greenspace to offset things. An interesting little tidbit about Anna was dropped there, and I'm curious to see what Thugos wants of Lara.Well, there is the bloodthorn swamp. That's a lovely spot for a picnic. I'm not sure whether Thugos was just playing with Anna's head or whether there has been some back-door components trade with Earth. The latter could help explain how Anna's creator made such a unique and powerful creation but I think it would have to be Jason's call to establish such a thing. It would also add to poor Anna's anguish given her recent experience with SPUD and the self-doubt that's raise so perhaps Jason would feel it over-eggs the pudding. Bad enough to have been created as a hero-killing war engine without discovering you're constructed with fundamentally sinister bits from a world entirely dedicated to war and destruction. Quote: The great and terrible Nanny made for a lot of fun with the Lighthouse. Where was she when we had to clean out all the assorted horrors and doom gerbils from the crawlspaces? /q]Doubtless checking that you'd properly turned down your bed with proper hospital corners. Quote: So the Jrs. are officially in college now, eh? I don't recall if Vizh ever got that tenure they talked about following "Heart of Darkness". Hopefully not, for his sake. We'll be seeing the Juniors' arrangements for college next issue - and then we'll be meeting their new members! | |||||||
