I know, that's annoying, as well as the fact that I can't physically limit the text size in there (you can paste an essay if you want, but it'll be cut off after you submit the form).

The problem is, the Rich Text blanks are really miniature editable web pages, and they don't give any feedback to Javascript I can use for "key events" - i.e. pressing keys doesn't alert Javascript at all. So I can't use those events to measure the size or move the view.
