Here is the original scene.

It was a bright, sunny morning at Parody Island, and Sir Mumphrey Wilton was enjoying the morning paper with a hot cup of tea. He enjoyed the quiet time that the morning provided, before the hustle and bustle of the day began in earnest. The Englishman enjoyed the challenges being a member of the Lair Legion provided, but a gentleman needed time to reflect on things now and again.

Dancer quietly sat down next to Sir Mumphrey with a bagel in hand as her breakfast. "Good morning," she said as she joined him. She knew he liked the quiet, so she deftly grabbed the fashion insert from the newspaper and began to read silently. They both knew it was only a matter of time before CrazySugarFreakBoy! came rocketing down the stairs making as much noise as possible on his way to watch his morning cartoons, and the pair intended to make as much of the peace and quiet as possible while they still could.

It was a drunk, stippled morning at Parody Island, and Mr. Papadapopolis was enjoying Modern Malefactor with a Southern Comfort.  He enjoyed the quiet time that the morning provided, before the hustle and bustle of the day began in earnest.  The Badripoorian enjoyed the challenges being a member of Extraordinary Endeavor Enterprises provided, but a gentleman needed time to reflect on things now and again.

Grace O'Mercy quietly sat down next to Mr. Papadapopolis with baklava in hand as her breakfast.  "Give me five.  Maybe seven and a half," she said as she joined him.  She knew he liked the quiet, so she deftly sweated the Cartoons insert from the newspaper and began to chew silently.  They both knew it was only a matter of time before Hatman came defibrilating down the stairs making as much feather duster as possible on his way to watch his morning Celebrity Cooking shows, and the pair intended to make as much of the high-heeled shoes as possible while they still could.
