Reply Subj: No wonder our Q score plummeted.

> It's certainly an epic (and different) direction to go... removing everyone on Earth. Luckily it doesn't seem like anyone got too friendly with a Spaced Fandom before the truth came out. That would have been awkward on any number of fronts.

It's not too late for people to write a storyline covering that if they want to. After all, apparently half the Marvel heroes have been shacking with Skrulls for years.

> It was fun to see the team back on the job, even if things weren't anywhere near back to normal. Champagne and Nats, Sally and Grace... all sorts of opportunities to add great characters to the line-up. Even if they don't officially make it, it's a pleasure to see them working with the team here.

If we're still around in a month or two's time we'll be covering a new line-up.

> I had forgotten that the Juniors were replaced as well... A nasty bit of business. I appreciated that Vizh's main concerns were with them, and that he actually has a decent strategy for taking down his class when they get too unruly.

The Juniors get their moment next issue, in "The Destruction of Danny Lyle".

> At first I thought it was Urthula putting the moves on Vinnie in the mansion, which felt a bit strange to me, considering that she and Vizh have dated, and Vinnie and Kerry have... well, "dated" is too kind of a word, but still... it's a cross generation thing that I'm happy to avoid. Although if Vizh had known about Kerry and Vinnie (it seems some in the mansion do) then I think he probably would have found more uses for that tranq gun...
> Oh, but since it was Uhuna... Ha! Man, she doesn't waste any time.

I think we've established that Vinnie and Urthula do know each other, but whether that's ever gone past being at the same party is something I don't intend to cover.

> We were almost treated to a Hatty/Doorman showdown, but then I realized that it probably *was* the imposter Doorman like Jay theorized, so that big meeting is still to come.

I'll leave that up to Jay.

> If the Legion somehow survives the nuking, it'll be interesting to see how they hold out against the rest of the world. If it comes to that... things are moving faster and faster (not that the story is getting any slighter...) I look forward to finding out which way it twists next!

Well, I have to decide whether the LL will call for help from the only still-human reinforcements on Earth - the Purveyors of Peril!
