> Seeing the EEE team second-guess the Spaced Fandom was gratifying.

I wanted to give them their due, but in the absence of AL I didn't feel they could have the more major role I'd originally envisaged; this was the compromise.

> The wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey lighthouse plot is fantastic. Nice to see our resident Lovetoad archeologist again, and it makes sense that Meng would become A Person Of Interest to the Scholar-Ghouls.

All of these elements were placed there with a view to later possible storylines. Or earlier ones.

> Wendy, Meg and April are all down, so Bettie might be feeling like the last one left. I'm telling myself that Louis has been busy keeping the reservation sanctuary running, and the Globetrotting Gangbusters have been living up to their name by putting out fires worldwide.

No reason not to show us any of that, even if it's just a set of frantic phone conversations.

> Moo reminds us that she's not all evil, and Vicki shows her vulnerable side. Mary Praskstar's mix of goofiness and clinical curiosity makes me hope that we could see Harley Quinn in a Nolan-directed Batman film.

Moo is only evil in so much as she's utterly amoral when it comes to her science. She's never been much about conquering the world. Dissecting it, maybe.

> I don't see the Void Scholar's exile as more than a setback, but it was high time for his manipulations to get cock-blocked.

I needed him wrongfotted for a little while to back him off long enough for some other plot stuff to happen. See next issue and the one after it.

> I was slightly disappointed that Kerry didn't think to scare Wyrmfood by threatening to burn herself as a bluff (a literal Pyrrhic victory), simply because Kerry is so spiteful that Wyrmfood would actually have to take such a threat seriously, and oddly enough, I think that would piss off Wyrmfood worse than anything else. Still, good shut-down.

Yes, that would have been good if I'd thought of it.

> Still looking forward to the next part.

That could be a fun one: Lair Legion Unleashed.
