They don't to do that all that often. Well, they do "important" things all the time, at least that's what they think it is. But what other think it is is questionable.
> The thing is, what is now going to appear as #17-19 were originally all going to be one chapter before it got too long. The whole Land That... cast would have appeared in that story. Now it's broken up some of the cast, such as Killer Shrike and Chad and Ronnie don't appear in the first section, and some other cast don't get much space later on.
