Yes, I liked the introduction, which I thought did a lot to set up the heroic nature of the LL, and it serves as a nice counterpoint to show how much their addition means to this world while the other half of the story shows the affects of their subtraction from their homeworld.

Recent chapters (including tie-ins) have featured a good deal of swashbuckling to great affect. Always happy to have more from the sky pirates.

Well, my first twinge at all was when the Librarian used the mind control device on the natives who were about to attack Amber and Dancer... Mind control in general isn't often used by the good guys, even for benign purposes. Still, it wasn't until later that the alarms really started going off.

Interesting... and good to see my reaction, though a bit self-absorbed, wasn't unintentional. I'm not sure if I can do the tie-in I had thought for Vizh and Hallie's reunion under those circumstances, however, so I may just have to wait for another chapter or two.
