There is already enough weirdness between Liu Xi and the Lair Legion. If they know she was voluntarily killed and brought back they might start worrying what kind of trouble she's in (and Yuki for one might decide to harass Vinnie).

Since Liu Xi is acclimated to magic and elements, she might retain "memory" of the curse he used somehow, unless he went to some effort to make sure it's removed. I guess he might have done that to make sure that she's not scared by what she sees.
