There's two factors at work here. She doesn't like her friends to do anything that reflects badly on her (which is why she's not close friends with CSFB!), so she would be angry at Hatman if he got tangled up in a harem too. But also, because she has had bad experiences with backstabbing from those she tried to befriend, she half expects Vinnie to do the same.

The only way nobody will find out is either if he defeats Koo without the help of the Lair Legion, or if he's dead before they get there.
