Having a deus ex machina undo the deaths of the villains involved doesn't change the fact that CSFB! willfully killed them. My point was what he did was certainly different than what Supes did to Mxy in "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tommorrow", and a lot more in line with John Walker wiping out the platoon of Watchdog agents who killed his parents.
