Reply Subj: I think she'd see that as a challenge.

> > From the "outside", all Liu Xi did was shuffle around a couple of seemingly unimportant buildings like some giant Sodoku puzzle. The only direct trouble that might cause to the universe is with the Postal Service and individual gawkers who happen to notice.
>
> Shame she's going to get ratted out by the Shaper of Worlds.

Fortunately the Psychic Samurai isn't naive enough to believe she or the people she's hidden can stay under the radar. But because she knows what's in store, she can delay it as long as possible. In other words, this isn't the only trick she has in the queue.

> > It may be up to Faite to reconcile the universe's sense of order vs Liu Xi's small brand of chaos, since she's always been an aberration in the Parodyverse even when it was normal. She can make small changes to reality so the universe believes it's supposed to be that way, as long as the Moderator doesn't question it directly (which is different from a retcon, where everyone believes it's always been that way).
>
> The Moderator's power is different from the Hooded Hood's, in that the Moderator can only delete things of which he does not approve.

And the Hooded Hood changes what's in the past to affect the present and the future. Faite changes only what's in the present to affect the future, which doesn't hold up well to scrutiny. That's why she only does that when there's nothing to lose or a very important reason.

> > That's why the small footprint is necessary - if she would have moved a wing of the Lair Mansion he surely would have noticed right away. The Psychic Samurai's condo not being in the right place, though...unless he goes to look at it personally, he'd probably chalk it up to his minions being idiots.
>
> Indeed.

"Idiots! You were probably looking at the wrong building."

> > Also that brings up another interesting topic. If nobody remembers the Carnifax being there before but he's there now, Faite may be to blame somehow.
>
> The forces behind the Carnifax are far less benEvolent in their plans for the Parodyverse. His eventual mission is to break it down for scrap. Right now the Moderator is showing him how the heroes react to world conquest. It's very instructive.

Being somewhat intuitive I bet Liu Xi is a little afraid of him. Lara would sense some darkness around him but she also senses some around the Hooded Hood, so she'd probably want to meet him. The Psychic Samurai distrusts anyone who's that secluded with that much power - she has her eye on him.
