> > Asil's not trained at explosives or bladed weapons (unlike Samantha Featherstone) but she is trained at unarmed combat. Asil could do more damage unarmed than in either of the other ways.

> That's fairly consistent since an unarmed Keiko often can kill faster and more easily than Chiaki can with her sword.  Of course that's why Chiaki is also trained in unarmed combat in case she can't draw her sword in time.  Though by far Chiaki's biggest handicap is her conscience, which forces her to give her enemy every chance before striking them down.
> Also Chiaki would be happy to train Asil properly with a sword.  Though at first, a wooden one.  Unfortunately nobody asked.

Asil's not really too happy using weapons (although she can use a whip, but not to Lisa's levels of mastery).

> That's kind of what prompted my comment - that Regret knows what he's seen lately and what he might like of it.

Or she's worked out that Tom can get into more trouble if he starts fancying LL women. The more wedges and complications between Tom and the Legion the better for her.

> > There's a difference between sacrifice and bait.

> I meant that he thinks he's sacrificing his own safety to protect the Lair Legion from a battle with the Heck-Fire club.  There's a certain person who believes it will work but wants to stack the odds even higher against Slaughter and his group by turning a spotlight on them so they'll have to stay out of trouble.  That'll become evident in a mini-tie-in story shortly.
