Sure, it did. Mr. Spooky knows it happened. Other people might, too. It's just that Chad, Ronnie, Catherine, Jane & Little Cat don't know it happened.

That is the
real Ronnie. He's always been kind of a Jerk to Catherine. The level of the jerkiness changes from time to time. Ronnie only really puts up with Catherine because she's Chad's friend. If Chad wasn't in the equation: They wouldn't mingle with each other. Catherine knows this but I'm not sure Chad does.
But, the Jerkiness may be covering up some feelings he might want hidden. If that is the case, no one beyond Ronnie knows for sure.
