I still have a ticket open for those server "refused connection" errors.  I'm hoping they fix it this week.

> > That's quite a show of power by Liu Xi, destroying an entire realm with elemental power.  I have to wonder if Sorceress took note of that, and possibly the Lair Legion (though I can't imagine how anyone outside would have seen it).  Nice to see she still doesn't give in to becoming a victim anymore.
>
> I felt it was time to show Liu Xi fighting back against being terrorised.

That much I figured.  Still, I'm wondering if the extreme response might be a topic of discussion at the LL.  Of course Sorceress is no stranger to extreme responses, so she'd probably back Liu Xi up.  :)

> In mitigation, she didn't really destroy the hell-realm, just disrupted it with earthquakes and firestorms and such. The Hell-Lord whose will dominated that realm was already distracted by other things that were happening.

I suppose the purpose was to make them afraid of Liu Xi, Sorceress, and Ebony, and I guess that did the job pretty well.

> > I like how Yuki behaved like everything is going according to plan even when it wasn't.  It's probably that confidence which is her best asset in the LL, because she motivates people when the chips are down and when Hatman and CSFB! can't.
>
> As I've said before, I see Yuki as being someone who enjoys leaping off cliffs and working out ways to survive as she falls down. She excels at it.

It's more her attitude than her actions that's the real asset.  It's being able to both give the others hope and make them laugh at the same time even when things are really looking bad.  And because she's the newest full member, it can't be simply chalked up to experience.

> > No recruiting drive, eh?  Yuki won't be disappointed (and Liu Xi definitely won't since she didn't expect anything from Yuki's brave suggestions) because she just wanted to get the offer on the table for whenever.
>
> I'm reluctant to add new members when I'm not regularly writing Untold Tales to show how they work in the team. In a few months we'll see if people want to buy into a series of "Recruitment Drive" stories outlining why characters join or don't join the LL.

Yuki's suggestions weren't all completely crazy.  She specifically chose people the Lair Legion knows and has worked with.  It was Yuki being clever - she didn't expect a recruiting drive, but in case she was wrong she'd throw in a couple names of people she likes working with.  Yuki can plan ahead too sometimes.  :)

> > Did I miss something about Carnifex?  I don't think he was there before, was he?  While Lara Night is off at home there has to be someone else who would detect that something has gone wrong.
>
> The Carnifex and his tower appeared at the moment the Parody Master died. Reality got amended so nobody questions this, and anybody entering reality - or even just thinking about it - will get "updated" too.
>
> At least for now, until I get back to it.

Kind of scary that the Parody Master had something in common with Visionary - being a placeholder to prevent someone worse from existing.

At first I thought Amazing Guy might sense something's wrong about this Carnifex, but he's gone.  Lara might know something's wrong, but she's at home.  I thought there might be someone else who can sense those things, but maybe not.

As a side note, if Lara does visit and realize he's new, her style is usually to assume he's not harmful since he's not bothering anyone like the Parody Master was.  She has to believe that, simply because she wants the same benefit of the doubt for herself - not to be hunted and eliminated just for being powerful.

> > Though she wasn't mentioned, if Violet returns to the Bean & Donut I'm sure she'll be gloating nonstop about Michael being the dish washer.  Unless she got a part in Lair Legion: The Musical somehow.
>
> I'm sure Mr P would make a point of trying to get Violet back.

Violet has a problem with her temper, but she can't stay mad at someone as nice as Mr. P.

> What role would a part-time cat play in LL: The Musical?

Allowing for artistic license, she'd probably get a stupid support role like Amber or Amy.  If she's lucky, maybe Miss Framlicker.  Violet would love to play Yuki but she simply doesn't have the seniority.
