Step one to becoming a cyborg? It was in fact a full heart attack (as confirmed by the angiogram), albeit a relatively mild one (well, compared to the ones that leave you dead...). ...But I felt fine for most of the treatment: the pain had already receded by the time the ambulance was called, and the only other side affect was an ache in the arm they did the angiogram from. Never mind being a cyborg, though. The technology for cardiac treatment is genuinely interesting and amazing. 15 years ago my father-in-lay was in hospital for weeks after heart surgery. I was out within two days of the operation. | |||||||
