Reply Subj: The way I figure it, our nonsense is the millennial's burden to bear.

I wasn't originally expecting an origin for the Abyssal Greye, but I quite enjoyed it... despite so much of it being over my head.

I hope the story wasn't too confusing.

Still, that's encouraging in terms of keeping any of the ghouls from getting too peckish. It was good to see this group take the lead again, and remember their true selves as well. Plus get buried in attack beavers.

I imagine that a small memorial to Chokohontas will be in order in the present-day mansion. Possibly with a spring-loaded beaver model.

Now if only Sarah can stop that Celestian, and the other can keep me from being a permanent resident of that tomb.

I believe we will be getting more on that in Chapter 31, which will conclude the issue and lead into *sigh* the concluding issue UT#360.

It occured to me that, having sketched the very briefest of appearances for the Keeper of the Borders so far it was important to give her a bit more substance. Rhiannon thinks that Zania is basically a Disney character, setting out from home to seek her dream and discover important lessons about herself. But she's pleased that Zania doesn't come attached to a male cast member on whom she depends for her storyline. So there goes the Zania/Mr Papadapopolis romance.

I'm all for her breaking out into a song about what she's looking for in life...

Zania or Rhiannon? Because Rhi is way ahead of you.

Really though, Sarah needs to come back and write a series where she sets Mr. Papadapopolis up on a series of dates until he finds true love, because now I'm worried about him.

Well, he entertains a young woman in Chapter 31.

You will doubtless recall that one of our characters is established in continuity as Madonna's love child. Really.

    Quote:
You really think that I would recall that, wouldn't you?

I played fair. I linked to that page.

Splendid. And the identity of the big villain?

Er... Byrne? It's not like I'm ever forgiving him... even though Vizh is now in films and had an excellent comic series.

Is John Byrne still alive? He used to be a great artist who I really liked up to and including his Superman work - and nothing much since then. But I was heartened to see his Man of Steel illustrations featured in the Doctor Who Christmas Special "The Return of Doctor Mysterio", in which the Doctor posits his theory that Superman and Clark Kent are one and the same person!.

Another artist whom I thought great but who seriously passed his sell-by date is Frank Miller. Daredevil remains my favourite of his work.
