Jane is mentioned but doesn't appear (She'll appear next time). Then there is Mr. Spooky who isn't mentioned here & doesn't appear but I'd consider him a member of the main "cast". Before Catherine's first story appearance, Jane wasn't even aware that Catherine existed since Ronnie never talked about her & of course Chad never said anything about her. The presence of Ronnie's dislike of Catherine has floated in & out of the stories over the years. It's more pronounced here since Ronnie had not seen Catherine in 3 years. The two of them put up with each other because they are both friends with Chad.
