Does anyone know what the official title for the leader of People’s Fraternal Republic of Candia is?

I know that the official title for the leader of Canada is Prime Minister but I'm not sure if Candia also has a Prime Minister. I'm asking so that I can use it in a story. If no one knows I could leave it out. it's nothing major. Just something I thought I'd add in.

In Untold Tales #301 he was referred to as Party Chairman and Commissar. Two of his minions were Comrade Pukin and Comrade Borin.
