Previous Post I have a story most of the way written but I don't have an ending for it so I turn to you, the story's future readers, to write the ending! I won't tell you what the story is about or who's init but I want you to write the ending. I would like it to be an open ended ending but that all I'll say. I'll take the best ending submitted & fit it into the story I have so far. Once I do that I'll post the story for you all to read. - Brian/L!

"And that," he said, "was just the beginning."

"Wow." His date watched him, pouting, one eyebrow raised. "That's some tale."

"Perhaps we should continue it somewhere else." He set down his glass and looked for the waiter. By now they were the last in the restaurant, but the staff didn't seem to be paying much attention; there was no-one to bring the check. He pushed back his chair and tried to stand. Instead he slid awkwardly onto his knees.

Her face loomed over him. "I'm sorry, Ramon. This was the only way."

He clutched at the tablecloth as the floor lurched; he heard distantly the clatter of falling glasses. "Ramon? But..."

"Don't worry, Ramon. You'll understand. Soon, I promise."

Voices mingled, lights dimmed and he felt himself lifted, carried outside. She was still there, but something else too. Something not human.
