Hmmm... at the moment, it's likely a toss-up between Donar and Dancer. Both I think are perfectly balanced for Parodyverse stories, full of fun personality quirks, amusing habits, useful powers, and personalities that make you want to read more and more adventures with them. Donar has all of the zany Ausgard stuff to play with, and Dancer has the secret identity and Bean and Donut backdrop for stories. They're both such fun characters.

    >> Dammit, now I miss terribly both of them..Wouldn´t be great a story with just the two of them? Team-up!

They used to do a regular Dancer/Donar team up series, back in the day. I think all of the issues are on the "Dancer's Diner" webpage under the links menu.

    >>All of them sound great, But silly gags IMO are what make this place special and different from other fan-fic places. By the way, sexbot?? Really??..sigh.. ;\)

In my defense, I think De Brown Streak created the sexbot character, and Ian made her a recurring cast member. I was just being neighborly by including her in a story. I'm a pretty sweet guy that way.

    3. Fave storyline ever (written by your friendly next door poster…ummm..not you..., another poster)

I was involved in it, but only for a fraction of it, so I'll say the "Follies of Youth" round robin. That was fun. So was the Moderator saga that followed it up.

    >> I remember "Follies". I enjoyed what I read. Newer stories tend to be better than old (better writting), but I so love the old ones...nostalgic, I guess

Nostalgia goes pretty far... and besides, what we lacked in skill back in those days we made up for in enthusiasm. Ah, to be young and goofy again...

I think I have to give this to Fleabot... he easily wins best supporting actor in my stories. Without him, Visionary stories would probably all be boring.

    >>He adds to Visionary character, but Visi is great by himself...

Visionary by himself is likely a story about monitor duty, and nobody wants to read that.

    >> I know ;(. I used to enjoy them lots too. I haven´t read comics in ages till recently. It makes me sad that you lost your "Vision"...

I gather there's a big storyline coming this summer or something that centers around Ultron and features the Vision. I saw some preview art of Vizh surrounded by scores of variations of himself. Still don't know if it's supposed to be "old" Vision or the Young Avengers Vision. How many issues are left on that Children's Crusade thing anyway?

    >>I knew I liked him for something more than his handsome red face...

It is odd to think that such a specific thing led to me being part of this board, and considering the relationships I've had with people from it, it has impacted my life fairly substantially.

I'm due to go visit Lisa and Christopher for his 12th birthday, for instance.

    >>40???... My mum says that is the best age ever..and I concur. I will try to remember to say happy BD this year. I wish you all the happiness, you deserve it. An who want to be "terribly happy". That sounds boring ;\)

The sad thing is that I feel like I should have substantially changed, mentally, from when I was in my late 20's... and I don't think I have. I feel like the same guy. Just... old now. How did that happen?

Every now and then I say something about those damn ponies that nobody wants to hear, so I've probably got that covered already. ;\-\)

    >>That is true ;\)

It's become my anchor to the next generation. My little cousin is the whole reason I saw the show in the first place. My nephew requested that we watch every single episode that we had on DVR or On Demand while he was visiting for Christmas, and now Christopher is into it too for all of the crazy online things that revolve around it (plus all of the crossover between fans of Valve video-games). So I get to be the hip uncle.

I'll take what I can get at this point.

That's fair.

Have a fun and safe time abroad next week!

>>Now that you mention it, I do remember. Probably it has been done, but a thematyc week could be to post stories from others poster you loved when you read it . I mean, post stories that you loved but not from ourselves. (. If they come with the authorship I don´t think the other posters would complain...I think many can still be on line

>>Como on, you are still young (40!) and defenitely there is goofy in your character, secondaries that you like to use and stories...I mean your best friend is a flea...But is true, the enthusiastic explosion that the board suffer back then was amazing. Like all begining

>Visionary by himself is likely a story about monitor duty, and nobody wants to read that.
No way, the best stories began with Visi doing monitor duty, but he managed to make a mess from this point forward. I insist he is a great character.

I gather there's a big storyline coming this summer or something that centers around Ultron and features the Vision. I saw some preview art of Vizh surrounded by scores of variations of himself. Still don't know if it's supposed to be "old" Vision or the Young Avengers Vision.
>> Probably the old one, once he is back.

How many issues are left on that Children's Crusade thing anyway?
>>Just one. SPOILER

Basicly the life force was the one responsible for Wanda crazines. I like to think, is not about mental control, but too much power for her. And DD could be the one to blame for the whole situation..Lets see the conclusion in the last one. By the way, No wanda-Visionn interaction yet, but again not too much quite conversation time yet.

I'm due to go visit Lisa and Christopher for his 12th birthday, for instance.
>> I find amazing how many of you even know each other. Clear prove this is a a great board. And 12! That really makes me feel old too.. Send them our love.

The sad thing is that I feel like I should have substantially changed, mentally, from when I was in my late 20's... and I don't think I have. I feel like the same guy. Just... old now. How did that happen?

>>I think that is common thing for everybody , the feeling the mind keeps young but the body dosen´t colaborate...(at least, other friends of mine say the same).

I guess when 80 I will be the same unmature thing than when 20..And it happened (getting old) when we were living our lives, working, being with the famiy, writting stories, having fun...Just let go from the feeling you are old (more in your mind than real), and keep living.

I blame the sociaty that because is afraid of the death, make it sound like a sickness to get over 40...and in some countries is simply a blessing because many die so young...

Dammit, that got really serious an probably yours was a light comment...

>>Just making fun of you. After seeing the ponies pics, this fixation cannot be wrong..;)
And I learned what a "Gormitty" is (dom´t know if you have them in US, probably)and even had to say wich one is the cutest (aren´t all of them the ugliest thing) to my best friend 3 gorgeous kids (I´m the godmother of the little one)

Have a fun and safe time abroad next week!
>>At leat I will have to speak english (going to a course in Brussels)...living in Spain for nearly 6 years now my english suck... But is only for 5 days...
