    1. Okay, not sure what this one was going to be. It's in with my Parodyverse stuff, so obviously at some point it was PV related. I think maybe it was going to be Muffy Framlicker in space? Yes, let's say that.

I'd say so too, since Yuki isn't quite that tall.

Would Yuki even need a spacesuit?

    3. "Mr. Excitement". I think I envisioned him as an adversary to CSFB and the Juniors. The general idea was an adrenaline junky who, after running with the bulls or something, found that he could feed off the adrenaline surges of others. So naturally he likes to cause mass hysteria and panic in crowds, making him super-tough.

He looks a bit like Casey Jones from Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles. Interesting concept, can't wait to see him in use somewhere.

No immediate plans to use him. I often sketch up characters and ideas before coming up with the stories for them, and I'm not sure this guy ever went beyond the concept phase.

    4. A little sketch of Vizh's lighthouse.

It's bigger than I thought it would be.

The Necromancer General needed some space to operate.

    5. "Liberty Valance", Mary Pranster's arch-nemesis.

I didn't know she had one.

They've only really met once, although Mary did steal her outfit for her attempt to join up with the Purveyors when they were pretending to be heroes while the Legion was missing.

    6. A further along portrait of Odoona.

This one says a lot more about her, if you remember that Caphans would dress in shiny objects like that to show their status in society. Perhaps Odoona is showing off her new status in her new society.

She's in charge of the House of Visionary's presence on Caph, as well as the Earth's Embassy. Along with being a local folk-hero with the rest of her sisters, she's doing pretty well now.

    7. A doodle of a scene I was planning in the "Ambassador Vizh" storyline, where the Emir seats Vizh with some of the stranger dignitaries since he's not all that fazed by genderless blobs of protoplasm after Yo and the Shaggoth. His fellow ambassador there could squeeze "her"self into vaguely humanoid shape but needed a holographic screen to approximate facial expressions.

Is that the same one where in one of my stories he ended up jailed for insulting someone and Mumph had to go and fetch him?

Probably not, if I ever post more than the first chapter I put up a while back. If not, then sure... why not?

    8. Midori, Akiko Masamune's #1 asset.

Shouldn't she be dressed in a green suit? Or at least a green shirt?

Funny thing about Midori, I didn't know of her existence when I formed the whole close friendship between the Psychic Samurai and Akiko Masamune. Once I found out, I had to wonder if Midori was a little jealous of that close friendship. But then again maybe not, because the circumstances that formed it was never an opportunity open to Midori.

A little trivia I figured out a little while ago but never quite squeezed into a story:

It's pretty obvious that Akiko uses Chiaki whenever she can as a cover for legitimacy. Chiaki allows it as long as no one's getting hurt, because she feels that if she didn't allow it, Akiko really *would* be hurting someone else who has less self esteem and strength.

And guess who is close enough to use and hurt pretty frequently? So in a way, Chiaki may well have been protecting Midori all these years by sticking around and maintaining contact.

    Interesting twist, eh?

I don't get the "green shirt" reference...

I'm not sure Midori was around when Chiaki was still working for Akiko, but they definitely have different areas of expertise. Midori handles Akiko's schedule... she's not a physical asset like Chiaki was. Akiko tends to cultivate whatever relationship she needs to in order to get what she wants out of people... and I suspect what she wants out of Chiaki hasn't been fully explored yet. I know we haven't yet delved into Midori's story...
