Subj: I managed to skirt around all the juicy stuff. Posted: Sun Dec 12, 2010 at 12:03:22 am EST (Viewed 1 times) | Reply Subj: Great interview! I learned more there about you than I have in years! Posted: Sat Dec 11, 2010 at 11:46:42 am EST (Viewed 668 times)
Quote: I'm really glad things are taking off for you. I wish you all the success in the world. Thanks. Meanwhile if you're still looking for publishing credits you might want to consider submitting a short story to SNM Horror Magazine; details at http://www.snmhorrormag.com/snmmagsubmissions.htm Quote: Finally after years the true face of Ian is revealed. I'd always wondered what you looked like.Well, that's what I looked like twelve years ago when I used the image to make the Hooded Hood picture. I've decayed since then. Quote: I always wondered if you were related to Watson, but didn't want to sound like a dumb American when asking you. But, isn't he fake? I mean, didn't Doyle make him up?Yep, he's entirely fictional; but since they asked the question I thought I might as well answer in the spirit of many Holmesian fans who try very hard to blend reality and fiction together to create a "real life" background for Holmes. Looks like the third volume of new Holmes stories won't be out until 2012 now (publishing clearance stuff; I stay well clear of the gory detail), but Robin Hood: Arrow of Justice is due out around March and an as-yet-untitled King Arthur book some time after that. 2012 will also see Robin Hood book 3 (probably the last; I think it'll be a trilogy), Assembled 3 (the Avengers commentary stuff; they held over about half my material from Assembled 2 so I haven't had to do anything much for it) which might mysteriously coincide with the release of a certain movie, and possibly Gideon Cain 2 (1/4 by me) if the inter-publisher detail is cleared up by then.
