I guess that's true. Lara doesn't believe she transforms into spirit, but then again, she can't really explain how energy can leave one universe and enter another. She might be prodded to believe someday that some superior being gifted her the power to do so.





Does it only adopt those who need extraordinary protection? (Marie is a ghost attached to the premises, and Hallie is anchored there by the location of her servers) Anna has been living there, but is capable of independence and self-protection.





Nobody is really sure entirely what kinds of information Anna is capable of inferring from the sensors she has. She can sense heat patterns (infrared), has wide-range radio-frequency sensors (so possibly brainwave activity) and extended hearing and visual ranges. Anna might be able to work out that CZ isn't always the same, or that she has two sets of brainwaves, or that she gives off some sort of energy radiation that's not normal for a human.

And recent technology articles I've been reading talk about facial/body recognition security scans through infrared. Generally people can't change the pattern of heat given off by their bodies, but the body CZ is hijacking might give off an unusual heat pattern, like someone who's supposed to be asleep.

But that's all moot anyway. Anna might see something unusual, but she'd probably just shrug and go on about her business. She might only ask CZ questions if she sees CZ doing something very unusual.
