Reply Subj: So was that last maneuver from the LL playbook? If so, who wrote it? Posted: Fri Sep 17, 2010 at 09:42:56 pm EDT (Viewed 1347 times)
Quote: Fighting dirty in more ways than one. I sure hope Fleabot goes through a car wash or something before he gets back on my shoulder. It just occurred that a flea-shaped assassin was going to use flea-based tactics. Quote: Still, that was probably my favorite out of the LL "Shake down" scenes. You can't go wrong with a bar scrum between raccoons and Scottish hippos. I had kept meaning to introduce a new Roquette Raccoon, likely the daughter of Rocket, but I never got around to it. I probably have too many oddball non-human cast members already though. In any event, I enjoyed the expanded raccoon universe, wherever that bar happens to be.Before I reigned myself in I had a whole cast to introduce to oppose the LL - tech-wrecking Socket Raccoon, size-changing Pocket Raccoon, computer-breaking Hackit Raccoon, trash-talking Mockit Raccoon, and so on. Quote: Some intriguing discoveries by the new guard as well... I like the idea of the carved faces being a language, as well as the apparent ties the gates share with The Land that Common Sense Forgot. (That was a fun bit of pulp, after all.)There were a few mysteries and subplots from that which I've been meaning to follow up on for a while. Quote: Lots of fun, and some great lines! Looking forward to more, where hopefully Alcheman will get his rubbings. He only needs to talk to Sally.
