I'm sorry I missed it the first time around, not just the reference but the whole story it was really nicely done.

As for the case: I'm not sure how it could have gotten to the courthouse. At time Chad & Ronnie were missing, they still are. So, it seems like it would be a one sided case, The People would have shown up but they would have no one to versus. If they did show up for the case I think the duo would have either represented themselves or gotten Mr. Armbruster to also represent themselves.
