Quote: Vespiir was put in a bad place, but when dealing with the Hood she's in good company. Quite a few heroes have been put in that same situation. Have they? I know quite a few have been manipulated into working for the Hood before, but this one felt different to me. More blatant than his usual style, where what the hero agrees to isn't quite so obviously disagreeable. Usually, while we can expect a nasty hook to show up eventually, it's not so apparent when the person makes the agreement. (Such as with Icy.) This felt much more aggressive and bullying... much more nasty, in short. She had direct knowledge that she was selling out her friends to save herself, and I don't think she can escape that truth. It is entirely possible, however, that I'm forgetting many of the details of the older Hood deals in light of the more seemingly benign HH of recent years. | |||||||
