I admit when Braun killed CSFB! I wondered if the Hood would be retconning him back to life. I wonder if Dream can be killed in his current form now; I'd think that maybe if you killed him without destroying his body like that (say with a bullet to the head or heart) if he'd stay dead, or if he'd just resurrect himself anyway. From a dramatic standpoint I kind of hope he still can be killed somehow, otherwise you end up with Wolverine.

There's a subplot here that I should perhaps make more explicit - and will as story and time allow. Ever since CSFB! died during the Parody War and came back as a being of impossibiliyium there's been a problem. There's an inbalance in Chaos. Where the new CrazySugarFreakHero! should have arisen Dream came back. The system is broken.

Now one could argue that breaking systems is the essence of chaos; but chaos is all about cause and effect consequences. The first major consequence was the seperation out of the Doomherald and his death; that paved the way for the return of the Chain Knight as the new god of murder, to control of the undead Shee-Yar empire passing to Dark Thugos, and to Slithis getting his hands on the "godplague", whatever that turns out to be.

And that was just the first consequence of Dream's "immortality". The next one's working its way out right now; but more on that later in the issue.

I felt really bad for Icy; he's a pretty genuine kinda snow-guy, so inadvertently killing that guy is going to scar him for quite awhile I'd think.

That seems to have touched a nerve with a few readers; but really if you're taking an innocent snowman on combat missions what is likely to happen sooner or later?

I was wondering if the depowering of the heroes was your way of clearing out some more absent poster-characters; we have reasons for CSFB!, Yuki, and Donar to recover, but if you wanted to sideline Dancer and Nats this would be a way to do it. I guess they could join the Powerless Legion with Hatman; Visionary could be our leader.

Noted.

With all the gory violence in this section, I have to wonder if that wet t-shirt you solicited will be wet with blood.

Wonder away; but actually it's the good kind of wet t-shirt. You folks tend to forget all the stories I do where people don't get massacred.
