Thugos doesn't seem to think in terms of danger to himself. He holds the opinion that if he can provoke someone to become stronger and more ruthless than him, even if that someone destorys him, then his work is done. Transforming Lara into a monster would be a victory.

I'm starting to see things more clearly now. Thugos believes that if he gives Lara limitless power, it will make her loyal to him, so he can use her for his evil purposes. The fault with that logic is Lara has already learned how to handle being powerful, and she hasn't turned evil yet.

In fact, it's not even guaranteed that she would take him down, because she always tries to consider the consequences first: Who depends on him for survival, and what will become of them; and what kind of worse evil would take his place.

Or I could be wrong, and the act of someone reading the wonderwall personally would cause destruction of the Parodyverse, and Thugos wants her to believe it's her fault. Or maybe he's confident she'll learn something from it that prompts her to want it destroyed.

You may have missed the import of our cliffhanger ending. Exu is dead. It's his murder that is powering the entire empire of undead. Someone else is responsible.

That's an easy mistake to make, since he can resurrect as easily as anyone else who has.

Well, the Bitches are detailed to support (and observe) the humans but it remains a human mission. I think they also respect strength and competence. And if Chaiki is an assassin they don't want to get on the bad side of her. They have to sleep sometime

Now that might be funny, because while Chiaki hates being called an assassin, she might use that to appear threatening to the Bitches so they can't push her around. Chiaki does have a bit of a sense of humor.

Why do I get the feeling Vinnie meeting that Bonsai Kitten is going to be another episode like Vinnie and Kerry, and Liu Xi is going to be very angry?

    I have no idea.

Is that anything like asking if the Hooded Hood planned this all along?
