Considering Fables is my favourite comic series, I am really, really enjoying this. When the dryad with a machine gun showed up, I then began picturing this story done in the Fables art-style, which is cool.

If only I could get James Jean to do a cover for it...

Any Fables connection is welcome though unintentional. Still, it's pretty much the only comic I keep up with through trade paperbacks these days, so it's undoubtedly an influence.

Absolutely loved the names Griffin dropped throughout the story, and it's nice to see other currently-children characters show up throughout the story.

This one has been a challenge to write, because obviously a big part of the appeal is finding out what the status of all the current characters is in this future. However, the more I define the future, the more obvious it is that its an "alternate" future since characters will die or change in ways I can't predict, and I'll likely be way off in how other writers would imagine their characters years from now.

So I tried to sprinkle enough of a glimpse into the larger Parodyverse to be fun, but keep it all contained to a handful of characters in order to let the readers feel that this could plausibly be in continuity down the line.

I admit I don't really know who is chasing Griffin and Garrick. With the explosions I had a brief thought it was Kerry, but it would be pretty extreme circumstances that would set her against her brother, so I don't think it's her.

With the last chapter posted, you can find out who it is... but as I mentioned in other replies to this one, she's a new character.

This is a great series, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of the young Legion kids showing up; it's like Next Avengers!

If other people want to dip into future continuity and add more kids, I'm all for it. They know what Griffin is like now.
