Perhaps it (and the new team) could just be faced with a Byzantine HH plot that doesn't wreck the world or slaughter the team. After all, if you don't arrange for some down time, your readers will be expecting an even bigger conflagration, and it gives some opportunity for characterization. I like to offer different kinds of threats and the Hood's plots do offer a different kind of threat from military conquest or dimensional domination, so I'll certainly be looking that way. I'm hoping to do a few short stories with the new LL next just to run them in. | |||||||
