At least one of them changed her mind - Lara. She heard that Hat abandoned two relationships (the two he was trapped in dreams with) and has personally been on the receiving end of something similar (with her ex back home). So while she wouldn't say it to his face, because she's way too nice, she now thinks of him as someone who either has serious problems with commitment.

She still likes him, though, and likes being friends with him, but will probably steer clear of anything too intimate.
