FYI, that last paragraph - Skinner and Flay, not Skinner and Peel. I think.

You think that's a bad typo? I completely forgot G-Eyed was in the scene.

I didn't know he was there either.

Generally the way the narrative is working out, all the first person stuff jumps around timewise and all the third person stuff is taking place pretty much now. Lara and Co won't be getting rescued. Why would they need to?

For some reason I had the impression that it was all happening at the same time - which, if that's true, means Flay, Skinner, and the Carnifex would be defeated shortly, and Ms. Peel would still be terrorizing the four women on an alien planet with zombies. If that were true, then after the rest is over, the Lair Legion would wonder where their friends went, and a rescue would be launched.

It looks like Faite is out and around again, somewhat. Perfect timing - rather than having to take on the big bads on her own, she's just an additional yet formidable force. She might even take a divide and conquer approach and go after one of them while the others are busy.

As Dancer said, there's quite an audience now. And all good live shows are improved by audience participation.

I did say before that Faite was waiting for the timing to be perfect, and that she's interested in the Carnifex' sponsors more than he himself.
