" Reading: 'To Kill a Mockingbird' by Harper Lee and the giant 860 page history of manga 'A Drifting Life' by Yoshihiro Tatsumi. "

To Kill a Mockingbird is always a classic, but I'd never heard of the " Drifting Life ". It's a history of manga, you say? Is it any good? Is it worth the 860 page investment of time/money?

"A Drifting Life"

Is it worth the money? Oh yeah. HIGHLY recommended. Definitely engrossing. I'm not even a big fan of manga, but I couldn't put it down. It concerns life in post-war Tokyo as much as it does the birth of manga. You can find it on Amazon. And even though it's an almost 900 page monster, since it's basically a comic, it doesn't take too long to read. I finished it in about 3 days.
