...I don't really know the history, but it's a nice version of 60's Captain America concept ( old war hero thawed out in modern times ), only this character has MySpace/Facebook AND respects civil liberties. Take that, Sally Floyd!

I starting writing Aegis stories when Marvel killed Cap, and it was pretty clear they were going to use Bucky as his replacement, so the character's a parody of that whole set up.

Glad you caught my tribute to Frontline #11. \:\)
