There's still the scene that takes place later the same night. And after that we're into a whole new game.

FA resisted because she was actually using her power to help her, and she would have succumbed in the end if not for Vinnie's intervention. But yes, Kerry and Vinnie could have had a thing under different circumstances.

He's been exiled from Earth, but his power remains undiminished. Now he's just got to be more deadly and dangerous.
