> Do they have negotiators?

Some of the Caphan pleasure slaves have good persuasive skills.

> > Caph's not really in need of a trade deal yet. They have internal issues to manage. They have an agrarian economy that has allowed them to remain self-sufficient right up to them making interstellar combat less than a couple of hundred years ago. In fact Kiivan might be justified in slowing down his planet's exports and imports for a while and concentrating on home affairs.
> The Trading Alliance might still be watching them. They're patient. Though I'm not sure how they'd react if an outside force attacks Caph. They may very well do nothing.

I don't think Caph's really under external threat right now. Apart from being well hidden inside a nebula and off the beaten path they've also gained a reputation for seeing off the Pigeonwarriors, the Parody Troops, and Galactivac!

> > I think for now Kiivan's trained. He needs skills in areas other than combat next.
> Like what?

Diplomacy, economics, litigation, and change management.
