> > What does that mean? It depends how much she's dividing her attention. If she has too many things to do at once she just might screw up her priorities. If she has other people to protect, or if she's fighting someone to keep them away from something else, she might concentrate on that and either forget to escape or not bother.
>
> I imagine things could get dangerous and destructive if her transfer went wrong.

That would be extremely rare, but it could. When she materializes, it's concentrating her energy form into solid mass. If she tried to materialize into something solid enough, it would be like injecting a massive amount of energy into matter - meaning an explosion on a massive several city block scale, vaporizing everything in its path.

She wouldn't do that on purpose though, because it would be dangerous to herself as well. Fortunately an accident isn't likely because she materializes as energy first and can tell that she's inside something solid.

> > > Other possibilities are that he believes she might pose a danger to the Parodyverse, that he believes her presence might stir up trouble, or that she's simply annoyed him.

> He could just be grumpy.

Grumpy implies a passing thought about Lara. Obsessing over how dangerous she is might be insanity.

> > Other than that, he needs to talk to Lisa at some point, either voluntarily or not. Lisa already knows that Lara isn't a danger to the Parodyverse, nor is she all that troublesome if someone answers her questions. She's no Hatman - Lara lives in a grey area and can be accomodating to some pretty bad things if she knows there's a purpose.
>
> Lisa never concluded that Lara isn't dangerous to the Parodyverse; only that Lara isn't sufficiently dangerous to require extraordinary measures. Lisa dealt with the danger in an entirely different way, by talking things through.

Then that brings up an interesting question: If Lara is considered so dangerous, then the object must be to eliminate all super-heroes, and those who are able to be sensitive to what the cosmic offices are doing, in order to protect it as secret. Through that criteria, Lara is one of the most dangerous people currently in the Parodyverse - because she's a fairly powerful super-hero and can figure out what they're doing. Faite would probably be at the top of the list too.

If they think it's her mere presence that is posing a danger to the Parodyverse, Lara would likely want to know about how that's possible, at least. In general, though, Lara trusts that since Shema made her aware of the place...Shema generally thinks so far ahead what most are capable of, she would have considered whether Lara's presence would cause some kind of danger.

> > You remember Lara's speech about Danny contributing to the destruction of the Parodyverse. She accepted that it was possible, but also that the Chronicler may have been short-sighted enough to be causing it by accident. That kind of insight may actually help him...or at least Lisa.
>
> Danny has certainly increased his power base during the current crisis - and might become more powerful yet.

That means Lara's prediction might have been correct. It might have been the Chronicler's hunt that causes Danny to take over.

> > > Anything's possible; however, the Chronicler will also be aware that Lisa is keeping an eye on him and has recently talked with Lara.
> > That might be remarkably helpful to Lara, since the Chronicler likely doesn't want to make Lisa angry.
>
> While the Chronicler would think twice before directly confronting Lisa he would do his job as he perceived it whatever the cost. For that matter he is the senior member of the Triumvirate, in the sense that he's been doing the job for a lot longer tha this new colleagues and is therefore more experienced and knowledgable.

True, but it might make his job easier if he doesn't have both Lisa and Lara angry with him.
