Since Liu Xi saved FA's mother then it's not only Liu Xi who'd be erased from history if FA didn't agree to marry the Void Scholar, FA would too. Also, since Liu also rescued Wormfood then that means she'd end up back in Comic Book Limbo if she doesn't help the Void scholar, on the bright side it also means she can't kill FA immediately, nor allow anyone else to. And to top that there's also all the other people who the Celestion Madonna is supposed to be the eventual grandmother of, though the only one who's in this plotline as far as my trying-to-work-out-what's-going-on-scrambled mind can remember is Suicide Blonde.
