I guess it wasn't clear then whether Sam had training from Chiaki or how much. Generally though, most of the people listed above teach
skills. Chiaki would quite assertively point out that she teaches a
lifestyle. But she would also note that her kind of training isn't for everyone, and would only teach Sam if she's willing to accept it and participate.
Though Sam might be interested if she knew that full Samurai training is nearly the same as training for Ninja.
