> I'm curious to see whether Sally switches over to our side. I don't know if we've ever had a person with stretching powers on the team (unless you count Finny or the Shoggoth that way)
I'm still in two minds about it. I think JJJ would be keen, but it would contravene one of the membership rules I've always adhered to - one poster, one LL member ever (unless the first character is gone for good, as with Jarvis and Avatar).
> I'm enjoying both Chad and Ronnie's predicaments; under the tender care of Mumphrey and Drury they should be fine. Well, most of their limbs should be intact, anyway.
I struggle to write the characters, but it has to be done.
> Al and the Librarian are a fun team-up, and a natural fit together. I don't know if they've ever teamed like this before, but it's about time.
it's a shame psoter Al isn't around to kibbutz.
> I particularly liked how the Stunulators couldn't hit Marie as much as Hallie may have tried. Nice touch.
It made sense to me. The Mansion likes Marie.
> The Shoggoth is very amusing in human form. I particularly liked his attempt at an anime-style attack; that was laugh out loud funny.
The bigger questions we haven't covered yet is why he's in human form and what are the consequences.
> Glory stole her scene, as usual. Her response to the Lassie comment was a nice touch.
She's a great character.
> And of course my favourite part of this chapter was the return of Yo!
That was always a possibility but I didn't make a final decision until the very scene when I wrote it. On the other hand, the Land That Common Sense Forgot catches all kinds of detritus.
