> > > I don't think the old man's mention of Liu Xi being matched with Danny Lyle is going to win her over. She'd be suspicious of anyone who tried to fix her up...again.
> > You'll notice he didn't mention it. He knows Liu Xi's not ready to cope with that yet.
> Sooner or later he's either going to have to tell her or hope that he it's easier to convince Danny to romance her...which still might not work. Unless he has some way to force them or trick them into it, which is unlikely. Danny and Liu Xi are both far too smart (though we've never heard Danny's opinion on whether he likes or is attracted to Liu Xi, so that may change things).

There's always the desert island scenario.

> > And he might need Liu Xi's assistance in gaining the hand of her ultimate grandmother so she can exist at all.
> If he asks her for that he may as well put on a collar and leash. She's been after him to be more honest about what he's doing - and she can use that to convince him the only way into her grandmother's heart is honesty.

All we know aboput the Celestian Madonna so far is that she was believed to be trapped in the bottled city of Badripoor.

> > > Sounds like Yuki is having fun now. I'm sure she always dreamed of beating up a gang of pirates and stealing their stuff.
> > It's her ideal holiday activity. Arr.
> At least she's having fun. And maybe Flapjack is too.

But what will Anna make of it?

And let's not forget there's a whole pirate stronghold out there.

> > > I'm not sure if I feel more sorry for Sir Mumphrey or for Chad.
> > Noted.
> Makes me wonder, though, how often Sir Mumphrey thinks about talking louder at Liu Xi when she doesn't quite have a grasp on what he's saying.

Liu Xi is female, and therefore doesn't get spoken at loudly.
